Operating Status Update

Instruction at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences

Rutgers is open and operating. The university has combined a majority of remotely delivered instruction, with the exception of clinical instruction, and a limited number of in-person classes. Please continue to check back in the coming weeks for updates on our operating status.

RBHS deans from the relevant schools will communicate with students regarding more detailed plans for instruction and clinical rotations.

Thank You

To Everyone at RBHS:

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.  I am very grateful to work alongside all of you, and wanted to make sure you know how much I value and appreciate you.

Through your efforts, we have provided life-saving care to our communities, kept the public well-informed with accurate guidance and helpful resources, mobilized our researchers to develop tests and treatments for this virus, continued delivery of our coursework and training, kept our facilities and critical missions running, sourced equipment and supplies from every corner, and so much more. You can learn more about these initiatives and others on Rutgers Today and be moved by inspiring stories about our community members on our Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s Here4U webpage.

Additionally, I am overwhelmed by support we have received from our generous benefactors. These have included monetary and supply donations to help our health care professionals and students. If you know someone who would like to donate money, medical supplies, or essential supplies please direct them to visit our donation information page to learn more.

I am very grateful for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Brian L. Strom, MD, MPH
Chancellor, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences
