Remember to wear a face covering indoors in university buildings, follow health and safety guidelines, and check the COVID-19 website for up-to-date information.
Created by a historic 2013 merger, with its first 5-year strategic plan released in November 2014, RBHS has rapidly developed into one of the nation’s premier academic health care centers, committed to a mission of excellence in biomedical and health care education, research, and patient care. In late 2019, a Strategic Planning Steering Committee (SPSC) was formed and charged with developing a revised and refreshed RBHS strategic plan building and expanding upon the many accomplishments of the first plan.
As we began planning for the next five years, the nation was faced with a global pandemic. It has been an enormously challenging time for all of us, especially given the recent events that highlight not only a viral pandemic, but a pandemic of systemic racism throughout the country. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the disproportionate impact on the health and wellbeing of disenfranchised and underserved individuals and communities.
Now more than ever, we need to carefully, thoughtfully, and compassionately rethink and plan for the future at RBHS.
The active strategic planning process is expected to last through the end of 2021. This website will provide updates to the RBHS community on the process and progress towards creating the actionable goals, objectives, milestones, and impact measures for a strategic plan. In addition, it will provide important information about how to participate including ways to provide input.
