RBHS Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion - Internal Search Announcement

Dear RBHS Colleagues:

One of the key recommendations of the RBHS Committee on Best Practices for the Recruitment and Retention of Minority Faculty, is the recruitment of a Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion (VCDI) for RBHS. Last year, we conducted a national search for this position and while we attracted a pool of very strong candidates, we were unable to recruit our top candidate.

As our commitment to these core values has not changed, we are relaunching this search to identify highly qualified candidates with exceptional leadership skills, a track record of scholarly achievement, an understanding of healthcare delivery, and a strong commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the health professions and biomedical/health sciences. We will begin with an internal search.

We encourage you to forward the names of potential candidates to the members of the search committee. Candidates may also apply for the position through May 3 directly at: https://jobs.rutgers.edu/postings/53066

The members of the search committee are listed below. Thanks in advance for their ongoing efforts and support for this important initiative as we build a welcoming and supportive environment that is truly representative and reflective of our very diverse state.
