    • More than 250 principal investigators are focused on the biology of the central nervous system and its function/dysfunction, developing treatments for disorders using novel neuroscience tools.

    • Cutting-edge, molecularly focused basic research in infectious disease, cancer, and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders including AIDS, influenza, leukemia/lymphoma, autism, and metabolic disease.

    • The Center for Tobacco Studies (CTS) is a leading tobacco-focused research center that seeks to reduce and ultimately eliminate tobacco-related morbidity and mortality in New Jersey, the nation, and around the world.

    • Supports basic and clinical research in environmental and occupational chemical exposure and fosters programs in environmental health education and public policy.
